The (Sarasota County) Stormwater department is working with a contractor to survey and map Cow Pen Slough and Main A canal. To complete this work, they will be utilizing a helicopter for one day and will be making two passes at 400' AGL. See attached screenshot of the area of where they will be flying.

(On Saturday August 22nd)... We are asking that all flying operations within the R/C Squadron area be temporarily paused for one full day until the helicopter pilot has completed their work. This temporary pause will help ensure the safety of both the survey crew and the R/C planes...
