SRQ MEMBERSHIP MEETING MINUTES
 
May 23rd, 2017
  • President DeRoy called the meeting to order at 7:00PM.

    • Joe Fast led the Pledge of Allegiance.

    • Attendance 17

  • President DeRoy‘s Comments:

    • The sun shelter repairs are complete.

    • Ken Shockey has resigned from the board and much of his maintenance duties.

    • Bills for the repairs have been submitted to insurance.

  • Secretaries Report:

    • The April Board of Directors report was accepted without objection.

  • Treasurers Report:

    • Keith Dennis delivered the April financials.

  • New Business:

    • The club needs volunteers to handle some of the work that Ken Shockey did.

    • Jeff from the county re-examined the sink hole.

  • VP’s Program:

    • VP Sundheimer presented a video featuring super-large scale R/C aircraft.

    • Nick Ziroli described the details that he has added to his E-Flite Stearman bipe.

  • 50-50 Raffle:

    • Won by Ed Bucholz.

  • Adjournment at 7:40PM


 
May 2nd, 2018
  • In the absence of President Martin DeRoy the meeting was called to order at 7 PM by vice- President Sundhelmer.

  • Treasurer Keith Dennis presented the financial report for April . It was received and approved without question.

  • The April minutes were approved without question or correction.

  • The board has not received an update from the county as to whether or not the meeting room projector and sound system Is operational.

  • The board reviewed the results of the airfare event and Is pleased to announce that the financial results were highly satisfactory. More Importantly attendance was high and everyone appeared to enjoy every aspect the exhibition. The membership appreciates the tremendous effort put forward by John Hall to CD this fair and congratulates him on it's success. Our next event will be held on September 15 and will feature aircraft of the Golden Aga.

  • The board Is planning to formally thank Jim Behanna for his generous donation of two airplanes.

  • We have received a noise complaint. Anthony lassiter has volunteered to confer with President DeRoy on how to proceed In responding.

  • Repairs to damage sustained during the hurricane are underway. Upon completion we will submit our claim package to the Insurance company.

  • A reminder e-mall blast will be sent shortly before future monthly general meetings.

  • There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 PM.
