  • The meeting was called to order at 6:55 PM. Secretary David Hasler was absent. David Speed attended as a guest.

  • Treasurer Keith Dennis presented the financial report for the month of February. It was examined and approved by the board members present.

  • In the absence of Secretary David Hasler the meeting minutes from the prior board meeting were approved.

  • Vice President Sundheimer announced that the raffle for the forthcoming meeting will include a contribution from a past winner so that the pot will be enhanced by 22 dollars. He further advised that the program for the March will be a short video of a World War II Spitfire pilot who conducted photographic reconnaissance subsequent to our bombings in Germany.

  • Dave Speed has been in touch with the county. Their intention is to repair the sinkhole and restore the surface to its original condition. There will be no interruption of access to the field.

  • There will be an addendum to the new membership application setting forth temporary restrictions on turbine flight.

  • We have been contacted by a resident of Misty Creek who believes that sound levels on Saturday, March 3 were excessive. We plan to retest the aircraft that was flying that Saturday morning. New decibel readings at our most southern boundary, closest to Misty Creek will be taken. Based on past experience we believe that our sound levels are in compliance.

  • It was agreed to go forward in arranging for the repairs required to our roof as result of hurricane damage. We anticipate that the repairs will be completed within the next 30-45 days.
