SRQ BOARD MEETING MINUTES

January 2nd, 2017
  • Meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by President Steve Sundheimer. Absent was VP Dave Hasler.

  • President’s Report:

    • The board discussed details of Dick Bobb’s responsibilities and projects he managed and preformed. Ali Haas and Ken Shockey are two names offered as volunteers to contribute to the responsibilities but, the bottom line is, the club needs several volunteers to handle all the many operations that keep the club running smoothly and efficiently.

    • Thanks to Dave Speed for facilitating the new porta-potty. A substantial club savings.

  • Treasurer’s Report:

    • The 2016 year end budget was presented and approved by the board. Will be presented at February Membership Meeting.

  • Secretary’s Minutes:

    • November’s Membership Meeting minutes were approved.

  • Membership committee and treasurer reported 70-80 members have not renewed AMA and/or SRQ membership. It was recommended that the board divide the names and contact the un-renewed members.

  • New Business:

    • Club needs volunteers to repair/repaint wooden tables and trash receptacles.

    • Arrange for installation of new sign on side of admin building.

    • Create plan to accelerate membership renewals.
